Performance descriptions on this website are based on our own testing and the product's design. Our testing is not independent. Independent test data will be published when it is available.
Results depend on the property, its exposure and the wind. Damp has several causes, such as leaks and plumbing faults, and some of these can't be fixed by ventilation. Where we say a product is designed to help reduce damp or condensation, that is a description of its purpose, not a guarantee of a particular result in your home.
2. Manufacture and quality
Our vents are manufactured in Cardiff by an ISO 9001-certified manufacturer, and distributed from our base in Swansea.
3. Regulations and guidance
Our vents are designed to support Building Regulations Part C (cavities) and Part F (ventilation) and NHBC guidance. We do not claim CE marking, BBA certification or compliance with any EN standard. Requirements vary between projects and change over time, so please check current requirements with your building control body or a qualified professional.
4. Third-party research and statistics
Where we refer to published research or industry statistics, we link to the source. Unless we say otherwise, that data provides general context and does not relate specifically to Active Vent products. Any calculations or projections are estimates, not product test results.
