2. How a contract is formed

• When you submit an order on this website, you are sending us an order request. This is an invitation to us to sell, not a binding contract.
• We will check the order and, if we can fulfil it, confirm it and send you a secure payment link.
• The contract between us is formed when we have confirmed your order and you pay using that payment link.
• We may decline an order request, for example if a product is unavailable or a price was shown in error. If so, we will tell you and you will not be charged.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any delivery charge is shown before you pay. Payment is taken in full through the secure payment link.

4. Delivery

• We deliver to UK mainland addresses as standard.
• Delivery elsewhere, including worldwide, is available on request at the customer's expense. Please contact us for a quote. Any import duties, taxes and customs charges are paid by the customer.

5. Pre-orders

Our products are currently available to pre-order. We confirm the expected dispatch timing when we send your payment link.

6. Cancellation and returns

If you are a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. Your rights for faulty or incorrect goods are set out under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

7. Product information and claims

We aim to describe our products accurately. Results depend on the property, its exposure and the wind. Please read our Data & Claims Disclaimer for how our product information and performance descriptions should be understood.

8. Our liability

• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
• Otherwise, we are responsible only for loss or damage that was reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
• If you buy as a business, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or revenue.

9. Using this website

• The content, logos and images on this website belong to Active Vent or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal use, but please don't copy or republish content without our permission.
• The information on this website is for general guidance and is not professional, engineering or legal advice.
• We may update the website and these terms from time to time. By continuing to use the website you accept the website-use terms in force at the time. Changes don't affect orders already confirmed; those are governed by the terms in place when the contract was formed.
